CERES is a unique environmental centre, urban farm, and community park located next to Merri Creek in Brunswick East. It is hard to describe because there is little else like it, but their vision "for people to fall in love with the Earth again" is good starting point to understand CERES. Perhaps the most important thing to know is that it's free and open to everyone—and popular, with half a million visitors each year.

You might visit for a pleasant walk through the gardens, to see the chooks, and to take your kids to the Terra Wonder Playspace. You might do some shopping at the organic grocery, bakery, nursery, craft markets, and stop for a coffee at the Merri Cafe. Or you might join in on one of the many events and educational sessions.

Surrounding CERES itself there are a handful of other shops and cafes, so check them out on your walk or bike to CERES.
